I’m on my way home from a wild adventure I never would have taken on prior to my Diva Makeover. I traveled over intenational lines and all reason for love. I put it all out there, I actually cried in public and laid bare my soul and I did it for love!

I’m not the woman who always has to be in a relationship. I pick a coose my men carefully. This one particular. Man captured my heart years ago and it was time for him either give his in return or for me to take mine back.

A I entered in my 10 wk emational detox (check me out on Diva Dance Radio each monday for more info) I created the intention of being fully open to love. In setting that I got clear that I wasn’t open and receiving love b/c my heart was already committed.

As I drove back after a 2-day emotional rollercoaster I went through several spaces. First I couldn’t stop crying. As we hugged goodbye it hit me this could be it, the end of an era and the beginning of new love for me. I was preentt to just how much I love him AND what not being with him has cost me in life. So as I’m driving home my fir st hour is tear-filled and it doesn’t help that the radio is playing a bunch of sappy love songs

.Then as I stopped resisting the tears I started feeling better. I know that love is mine and all I have to do is accept it. By being willing to relaese him I am making space for my passionate, fun, adventurous, romantic properous partnership! That is exciting! I am actually going to have a man who cherishes, adores, & respects me! I can hardly wait to have him around all the time. My life will be radically different.

The spark that got me on thr road and in action was realizing that this is it! My life is now. I have 2 stop putting me off and focus just as much on me as I do other and my business!

If you haven’t picked up a copy of The Presence Process, hurry it will change ypur life!

Ii don’t know what will happen with dude, but I know that I have no regrets & am ready for my future to unfold

Yoga Diva!

Yoga Diva!

I so did not feel like getting up and going to Yoga this morning. Here’s the thing though, you get SOOOO much out of being your word vs. your feelings. It’s 11:00 and I now feel wonderful both because I started my day with integrity AND because my mind is clear and body refreshed from a great class!

As my friend Mr. Mogul said owning your own business does not mean you get to sleep late, it just means you have to be disciplined enough to get up early b/c there is no boss to report to!  It also means I have to be disciplined enough to go to bed earlier (notice I didn’t say early ;-) ) so that your body is not struggling to get up.

You have to go to bed early EVEN THOUGH you have a FANTASTIC NEW PROJECT to work on and want to stay up all night to work out the details.  Simply jot down your most excellent ideals and have faith that the universe will have it all ready for you again in the AM.

In other Diva news, last night I went to my first SAMBA class and I LOOOOOVED IT!  I have to admit I was really nervous b/c they are in the middle of a 5-week session and I have never done that style of dance before, but it was cool.   Trust, I messed up, a lot, but this ia s lesson in not taking myself too seriously and being okay with not looking good all the time.  Tonight is cha-cha and I am looking for a great belly dancing class too! I know it seems like a lot, but I have a company that teaches dance, so this is all part of R&D (see how my classes are now a tax deduction!).

Don’t be jealous, just be in action, you to can live your dream life today!  I suggest you start with getting clear on what you are passionate about and then see what happens next.!

Alrighty, I just finished my smoothie and its time to hop into the shower to get fresh and clean.  I have much to do on that EXCITING NEW PROJECT!)

hustleHere’s what so, people are losing their jobs and our economy is in the tank. At the same time, I contend there is plenty of money out there and plenty of money to be made. The question is how much will you get? In the past two hundred years we have created a country of people who lack the ability, desire, or comprehension of hustling (read entreprenuership). Now in the black community a hustler or to hustle means to deal drugs, but what I mean is doing whatever it takes to handle your business

So you get laid off, now what. You still have bills to pay and in some cases a family to feed. Are you just gonna sit around and feel sorry for yourself and try to live off of unemployment? Unfortunately the answer for many people is a resounding yes! They will look for a job, but in the mean time cc bills aren’t getting paid and/or homes are going into foreclosure.

I was watching Oprah and I got really irritated at one point by these couples breaking up as a result of not having money. This one guy went into a deep depression and just checked out of his life leaving his wife to not only work but to also raise their daughter. Then she decided to leave him and move in with her parents while he went to rent another house alone. WTF?!!

As his life partner she needs to stick with him, and; as a man, no as an adult he needs to suck it up and get on his hustle. I don’t care if you have to cut lawns or wash cars, get your ass out there and do something. I know its hard, really I do. As a self-employed person who has not had the much financial success I know first hand that it can be disheartening and depressing, BUT you have to keep it moving. You can’t just check out for months and months.

I think about my Dad and how he got laid off back in the day (70’s/ early 80’s) and he did all sorts of side jobs and hustles to get the bills paid. Yes we got some government assistance AND he worked hard to make up the difference. Times were tight and there were periods when we went without lights and I remember eating powdered milk, gov’t cheese, and gov’t apple juice, but my parents made it happen..

If you lose your job you can be shocked you can be angry, you can be a lot of things, but being sitting at home playing video games and watching TV will leave you played when that unemployment runs out and it might leave you single.

Direct sales/network marketing is a great way to enter into the world of self-employment.  You have quality products that people actually need and use such as vitamins, make-up, household cleaning supplies, personal care products, etc and you will be trained on how to acquire customers and generate income.  I know it’s not fun AND I know there is a stigma attached to things like Mary Kay and AMWAY, but in reality in times like these it is an option to consider!

I am self-employed with Exoticise and I am Mary Kay and First Fitness Consultant.  I teach women the art of Exotic Dance and have products for beauty, weightloss and nutrition for sale.  It works when I work it, the key is working it.

Finally, if your friends and family are sales consultants for these kinds of companies, SUPPORT THEM!  Be their customers!  Don’t ask for the hookup or a discount!  People are trying to pay their bills just like you!

Just my thoughts on this subject.  What do you think?
