Social Media Made Easy(er)

First off,  YES I know that’s not how you spell it LOL. Social Media Marketing is IT.  Many of the old school ways of doing things are simply ineffective and that’s just how it is.  What’s great about social media, is that if you understand how to do it, you can blow up…majorly.  Now HOW to craft an effective social media campaign is NOT my thing.   You have to reach out to my buddy Versandra of Social Media Made Easy Coaching and Consulting  for that service, but I have something that will make IMPLEMENTATION of that strategy simpler, especially if you’re still holding down a job and managing a full schedule AND working your business!

Personally, I spend a lot of time on social media (SM).  The goal being making connections and interacting with people both socially and professionally.  I am still perfecting my SM game, but I do know that “content is king.”  It can’t be all about advertising what to buy AND at some point you have to CONVERT your fans/followers into clients (I don’t like to use the word customers).  Finding a way to get information posted on multiple platforms in a timely manner AND have a normal life can seem impossible, but trust and belive it is doable, IF you have the right tool.   A while back I put you up on HootSuite and trust, HootSuite is still on point, but I can’t NOT share about my newest find when it comes automating and streamlining your social media campaigns.  It’s called PostCron .

Now PostCron is not a NEW company, it’s NEW TO ME.  Like I said, I’ve been using HootSuite Happily for the past few years and I still like it, but there is ONE FEATURE that PostCron offers that is super sexy to me.  EVENT POSTING!

Let me back up.  In case you don’t know what HootSuite or PostCron do, they allow you to post to multiple SM Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc…) as well as PRE-SCHEDULE when your posts will go out so you can be more efficient with your time and truly strategize on your SM message.

The thing that was a missing for me in HootSuite was the ability to post to my events.  I mean you do all the work to set up the event and invite everyone, but then you have to take the time to build excitement with teasers and posts and sheesh, a Diva has enough to do during the day.  POSTCRON let’s you automate your posts into your events!!! This is a super win for me and I had to share it with you all.

I suggest trying it for yourself, it’s free for up to 10 posts and I think worth the $9.99 monthly fee for unlimited scheduling and bulk uploading.
